In the lower part of the page a decorated rectangular frame encloses the initial word of the piyyut for Sukkot אכתיר זיר תהילה (Davidson I, א' No. 3301, p. 154) which is surrounded by linear pen decoration. The frame is decorated with foliate scrolls and geometric motifs, with medallions in the four corners. The medallions on the left are decorated with rosettes, and the two on the right with trees, which may allude to the willow tree (aravah), one of the Four Species used on Sukkot.
