Summary and Remarks
The city hallmark precedes chronologically the assay hallmark and this problem must be checked. Another hallmark which depicts Saint George on a horse, was documanted but not photographed. For other objects with the pattern of a crest with a bird-shape apex, which supported by rampant lions, see: Torah crowns IJA 10178, IJA 10179, IJA 8691, IJA 9697, all from the regions of Kiev and Zhitomir.
