The Torah finial now consists of only a body. The body is composed of two openworked compressed globes of diminishing size, each surmounted by a concave unit. The lower globe, which is supported by a base decorated with petalled leaves, depicts the Four Animals (8829), each framed by a double foliate scroll. The upper globe depicts six of the Zodiac signs (8816) surounded by double foliate scrolls. Small cast branches with leaves are attached to the smooth connecting units.
