Fol. 100v: At the beginning of the fourth line from the bottom, the word “Moshe” (משה) — corresponding to the name of the scribe — is marked by a series of small diagonal reference dots leading into the outer margin. These dots connect to a marginal grotesque head of a dragon-like creature, drawn in dark brown ink and shown in left profile. At the upper part of the inner margin, a corrective text is written within a small shield-shaped frame, in square and smaller semi-cursive scripts, supplying a passage omitted from the main text. In this instance, the point of insertion in the principal text is marked by a small circular reference sign at the beginning of the sixth line. The shield is decorated at its lower edge with a foliate-like motif executed in a spared-ground technique.
