The pewter Seder plate is round, with a raised rim. The inner part is divided by an horizontal line. On the upper part is a depiction of three of the Four^Sons of the Hagadah. The Wise, bearded, dressed with a robe and a big hat raises his right hand towards the other sons. The Wicked in the midlle is depicted as a soldier, with a short dress and a feathered cap, who runs from the Wise towards the Simple. He holds a sword in his left hand, and shield hangs on his right arme. The Simple, wearing a short peasant dress, is leaning on a walking stick, with bowed head near a pine tree. Other trees and small buildings are seen at the background.

The image is borrowed from the Amsterdam Haggadah of 1695, see here.

The inner lower part bears an inscription surrounded by three flowers. In filled square letters it reads:

"חכם מה הוא##אומר מה..." )הגדה של פסח( "

Translation: Wise, what does he say, what..."(Haggadah)
