Victims of the Panevėžys Ghetto

Description:

The monument is situated in the central part of Panevėžys, at the crossing of Klaipėda and Krekenava Streets.

The monument is made in the form of a gate: two higher granite posts represent a gateway and two lower granite slabs represent the walls. Identical Lithuanian and Yiddish inscriptions appear on the "walls." A lying stele with the map of the Panevežys ghetto and a Star of David is placed in front of the "gate."
