The Jews of Olkusz, Poland who perished in the Holocaust.
Description:
The monument is located in the Western Alley of the cemetery, along with dozens of other Holocaust memorials built by Landsmannschaft organizations, survivors, and relatives.
The monument is a white stone slab set on a stepped base. Two short stone pillars flank the slab on each side. On the base, there is a horizontal stone slab with a metal handle, concealing a niche with the ashes from Auschwitz (?). A metal menorah is placed on the right side of the base. The entire monument is surrounded by four short stone columns connected by a metal chain. At the back of the memorial, there is a metal door, concealing a niche with a scroll with names.
