The western aisle is paved with a vertical rectangular mosaic panel, which decorates with five inscriptions in Hebrew and Aramaic with geometric and floral designs. The rectangular panel is framed by two plain bands and stepped triangles. The panel is divided to eight rectangular panels, which are seprate by two plain bands and stepped triangles. The panels are described from the north to south: 1. The panel decorates with grid of serrated bichrome filets, which create rhmbois form. 2. The next panel contains a row of flowerbuds. 3. The north side of the panel decorates with outlined orthogonal pattern of adjacent scales in bichrome serrated filets, each scale bearing a flowerbud. The south side of the panel contains Hebrew inscription. The inscription names the thirteen ancestors of the world, from Adam to Shem, Ham and Japheth. 4. The panel contains a Hebrew inscription, which lists the twelve signs of the zodiac, the twelve months of the year, and the names of the patriachs and the companions of Daniel. 5. The panel contains an Aramaic inscription.The inscription opens with a blessing for the sons of Hilfi. It then continues with a warnings to those who commit the sins of causing dissension in the community. 6. The panel contains an Aramaic inscription, which blessed the sons of Hilfi. 7. The panel is decorted with intersecting octagons forming a central emphasized square and four surrounding oblong hexagons. Each hexagon and square contains two short bichrome lines in the center. 8. The northern side of the panel contains the fifth and the last Aramaic inscription. The inscription is blessing the pepole of the town, which renovate the synagogue. The southern side of the panel is decorated with outlined orthogonal pattern of adjacent scales in bichrome serrated filets, each scale bearing a flowerbud. The vertical rectangular panel is surrounded by rows of flowerbuds. The panel is designed to be viewed from the south.
