The plate is framed on both sides by a curtain which is attached by ribbons at the two top corners. At the bottom the plate is decorated with foliate pattern, volutes and a cartouche, which bears a dedicatory inscription. A crest in the shape of a crown is attached to the plate. The plate is hung by a chain which is inserted through three rings attached to the back of the plate. The dedicatory inscription is engraved in outline letters, and reads: בודא אוילאק (Buda Ujilak)
