The brown parokhet is made of cotton velvet. The parokhet is rectangular. A dedicatory inscription in a medallion of leaves bearing fleur-de-lis depicts the centre of the parokhet. A Torah^crown~ appears above the dedicatory inscription with an inscription which reads: כתר תורה "Crown of Torah" The parokhet is framed by a ribbon. Its corners are decorated with foliate pattern, and the background is decorated with stars. The dedicatory inscription is embroidered in outline letters and reads: פרכת העדת##אשר נדבנו אני שמשון##בן מהור'ר )מורנו הרב רבי( ליב גאמפערץ זצ'ל##וזוגתי מרת רבקה בת אחי##המנוח ר' פייבל לכבוד התורה##ולכבוד בית מדרש##הרבנים הזה##ש' ת'ר'מ'ז' לפ"ק "The vail of the testimony##which was donated by me, Simson##son of our teacher, the Rabbi R.(int.) Lieb Gamferz, the rihgteous, of blessed memory##and my wife Mrs. Rebbekah daughter of my brother the late R.
