The blue velvet Torah^mantle consists of a cloak, straps and a lining. The rectangular cloth cloak is made of two parts and is attached at the upper border and opens in its lower part. The cloth is decorated with the Tables^of^the^covenant flanked by two rampant lions facing inside and topped by a crown surmounted by a Star^ of^David and three styllized flowers at each side. A dedicatory inscription in filled and square letters is embroidered at the lower part of the cloth and reads: ז!נ ר'זעליג ו'ז ליזיקא בוקסדארף לזכרון נשמת אבותם ר'שמעון ור'יעקב תרצט !This is the donation of Rabbi Zelig and Z. Lizikah(?) Bucksdorf(?) in the memory of the soul of their fathers Rabbi Shimeon and Rabbi Ia'acov 1939. Two branches attached by a knot framed the inscription at the bottom
