The Parokhet consists of a main cloth and a lining. A matching kaporet is attached to the parokhet. A fringe band is attached to the lower borders of the parokhet and the kaporet. The rectangular main cloth is green and consists of three pieces. The cloth is decorated with a woven-in geometric pattern. The lining is yellow and consists of two pieces. The main cloth is decorated, at its center, with two columns surmounted by rampant lions flanking tables of the covenant surmounted by a Torah Crown. Above the Crown is the inscription:

!קדש לה'! !Dedicated to the Lord!

Flanking the crown are the letters: !כ /ת )כתר תורה(! !Crown of Torah!

Below the tables of the covenant, between the two columns is a dedicatory inscription embroidered in filled-in letters, reading:

!פרוכת זו נדבו לביהכ!נ !אהבה ואחוה! ## אברהם שרז ורעיתו מתילדה הי!ו)ה' ישמרהם ויזכם(## לז!נ)לזכר נשמת( אביו חיים ז!ל)זכרונו לברכה( שנפטר ביום ד' שבט תרפ!ח ##ואימו קדן ע!ה)עליה השלום( נפ' )נפטרה( ביום כ' אלול תש!ד ## !ולז!נ)ולזכר נשמות( הוריה דוד ותמר קפלוטו הי!ד )ה' ינקום דמם(##שנספו בגרמניה ביום כז' מנחם אב תש!ד##ת'נ'צ'ב'ה)תהינה נשמותיהם צרורות בצרור החיים( !

Translation: This Parokhet was dedicated to the synagogue 'Ahava VeAhava' by / Avraham Sharaz and his wife Matilda, May the Lord protect and sustain them (inits.) In memory of the soul of (inits.) his father Haim, of blessed memory (inits.), who passed away on the fourth day of Shevat (5)688(=1928) / And his mother Keden, may she rest in peace (inits.), who passed away on the twentieth day of Elul, (5)704(=1944) / And in memory of the souls of (inits.) her parents David and Tamar Kapluto, May the Lord avenge their blood (inits.) Who were killed in Germany on the 27th day of Menahem Av (5)704(=1944) / May their souls be bound up in the bond of life (inits.)!

The dedicatory inscription is framed at the bottom by a pattern of foliate and floral branches with a bow at their center. The rectangular kaporet is made of the same fabric as the parokhet. It has a lower border cut in a straight edge with a fringe band. The center of the kaporet bears a Star of David framed by a branch on either side. Above the Star of David is an inscription embroidered in the square, filled-in letters. It reads:

!...כי מציון תצא תורה ודבר ה' מירושלים.! )ישעיה ב ג., מיכה ד ב( . . .

Below the tables of the covenant, between the two columns is a dedicatory inscription embroidered in filled-in letters, reading:

Translation: For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.! (Is. 2:3, Mic. 4:2)
