Description

The monument is located on the mass grave in Volodymyrets. It is a black stone horizontal slab with Ukrainian and Hebrew inscriptions, lying on a base with a Magen David on its front side. The monument is surrounded by metal columns with chains.

Цей памʼятник був побудований
жителями Ізраїля вихідцями з
Володимирця

В цьому місці загинули
3000 євреїв
жителів Володимирця.
Вони були розстріляні
німецькими фашистами
під час ІІ світової війни в 1942 р.

Translation: This monument was erected by the residents of Israel, natives of Volodymyrets // At this place, 3,000 Jews residents of Volodymyrets perished. They were shot by the German fascists during WWII in 1942.

Transcription: Here are buried 3,000 Jews, members of Volodymyrets community and surroundings, who were killed by German Nazis and their assistants, May God avenge their blood, on 15 Elul 5702, August 28, 1942. We and future generations will remember our dear. parents, brothers and sisters, holy and pure. / Eternal glory to the Jewish soldiers and partisans, residents of Volodymyrets, who fell in the war against the Nazi enemy. May their souls be bound in the bundle of life
