The silver Torah shield is rectangular and terminates with a semi circular arch. The Tablets^of^the^Covenant inscribed with the first words of the Decalogue are depicted in the center. They are flanked by two cylindrical columns decorated with spiralling strips of leafs. The upper part consists of a flower vase flanked by two couchant lions, facing backwards and revealing their tongues. The lower part is decorated with a flower vase a foliate scrolls and bears an inscription written in square linear letters, and reads: "זאת נדב ר' אהרן ב'ר יוסף צוריף". "This is the donation of Rabbi Aharon the son of Rabbi Yosef Silversmith".
