The arched silver Torah shield consists of a plate and movable indicating plaques.

A protruding Torah Ark in a shape of a rectangular, topped by a semi-circular arch is situated in the centre. It consists of two opening doors decorated with openworked foliate scrolls, and a Torah Scroll inside. The Torah Ark is framed by scrolls and flowers and is surmounted by two rampant gardent lions with human faces. Below the Ark is a rectangular protruding frame with a cell for calendar plaques. On the back side of the shield is a box with an opening door for inserting the plaques. The frame is mounted over an oval medallion resting on a compressed raund base ending with a foliate shell. Two barrel-shaped columns decorated with a fluting spiral band flank the central axis. Capitals are surmounted by roosters facing the Torah Ark. A rich foliate scroll design is spreading all over the lower part of the shield, framing the indicating plaque and emerging towards the borders, which are composed of a foliate scrolls enclosing the shield, topped by a conch. Two loops are situated on both sides of the upper part of the shield. Two rings bearing a chain are inserted through the loops.

Five bells are attached to the lower margin of the shield.
