Who is Commemorated?

Six million Jews killed in the Holocaust

Description

This brick memorial takes the form of an obelisk, with a white cap crowned with a Magen David. Three plaques are affixed to it, two on the front and one on the left face. On the front beneath the plaques is a white plaque framing a blank metal plate.

The obelisk sits on a square of the same white material (plaster?) as the cap, and rising from the material in front of it are six rough candlesticks of the material. The plaster(?) square sits on a cube square base, attached to which are a plaster block with a flagpole and three half-circle steps leading up to it.

A short half-circle wall of bricks surrounds all sides of the monument save the front, which is then surrounded by four short brick columns connected by an iron chain.
