The Copper Laver consists of a body and two handles. The round body has straight bottom and its edge is widening outwards. The two handles are placed close together. It is decorated with a tree in the centre, surmaunted by double head eagle and two letters ander their legs. on each side of the tree ther are six branches ending with raund medalions. The branches bear fruits and some birds. The medalions on the right depict (from above to the bottom): the Tables of the Covenant; Two trees; Two fishes (the upper looking right and the lower looking left); A Snake; a lion (facing right); a deer (facing left). The medalions on the left depicts (from above to the bottom):a Menora;a flower; a bout; an animal`s head (horse? facing right); a house; a bird ? (facing left); Four birds are sitting on the second and fourth branches (from below),facing each other. The tree is supported by two sarpent lions with there heads taurds back and is flanked by a pair of blessing palues. Between the hands there is a depiction of priestly blessing surmounted with the Star of David. Bellow in the centre there is a letter :" " with a hand under it. Both hands in the upper part bear the depiction of the Star of David with the snake below.
