In the lower part of the page next to the >piyyut> איתגבר בחיליה אדוניה (Davidson, I, א No. 3197, p. 150) for the Sixth Commandment, "Thou shalt not kill", is an illustration within a trefoil arch. On the right is the crowned, enthroned King Solomon "שלמה המלך" pointing to the "valiant Joab" "יואב הגיבור" who has just been decapitated by "Benaiah the courtier" "בניה השר". Benaiah and the head of Joab wear pointed Jewish hats. The inscription above the figures are from the >piyyut> that follows on the next leaf. Near Solomon, the banderole reads "דכיר לך דעמשא ואבנר" "remembered is (the blood) of Amasa and Abner". Above Joab, קיצץ בניה רישיה דיואב בזימני חדא ועל רישי דיואב לבית מלכא של)מה( "Benaiah severed Joab's head with one blow and the head of Joab is on the house of Solomon". Near Benaiah, שרי צווח לבניהו בן יהוידע "And he started shouting at Benaiah the son of Jehoiada," alluding to the >piyyut>, in which a loud argument between Joab and Benaiah is recorded.
