The silver Torah Shield is rectangular and terminates with a semicircular arch. Its centre depicts medallion bears a gabled Torah Ark flanked by two statant guardant lions. On top and bellow the Ark there is an inscription, in square filled letters. It reads:

כ"ת [כתר תורה] / ז"נ [זאת נדבת] ה"ר בא"י

"Torah Crown; this was donated by the Rabbi son of Alef-Yod (maybe the initial of a name)".

Bellow the Ark there is a Star of David flanked by the initial:

ז" צ" [זכר צדיק - לברכה]

"The righteous, of (blessed) memory".

The torah shield is framed by a band filled with small lines around the ark and triangulars with the same pattern on the corners of the rectangular.
