The brass free-standing back-walled Hanukah^lamp consists of eight oil containers,a back and side walls. The Hanukah^lamp is supported by a rectangular flat base. The eight round spouted oil containers are fastened to the back. The openwork back wall is rectangular, and consists ofa central circular cartouche, surrounded by a wreath. A floral design flanks the cartouche. On each side of the floral design appears a small Star^of^David. Atop the circular cartouche is a Star^of^David. ##The right side wall is composed of the figure of Moses, holding the tablets of the law in his right hand. He has "horns" on his head. ##The left side wall is composed of the figure of Aaron, wearing the breastplate, and holding an incense censor in his left hand. He is wearing a mitre on his head. His right hand is outstretched and has an opening in it, probably to support a Shamash.
