Text panels nos. 3-5 (sheet 1) surrounded by a decorative painted border. In the upper margin, medallions with busts of the king and possibly Queen Esther are placed. In the lower margin, there are 3 frames nos. 3-5:
Frame 3 includes two scenes. On the right and in the center, Mordecai at the palace gate is depicted (Es. 2:19 and/or Es. 2:21); in the background several buildings are visible. On the left, the marriage of Ahasuerus and Esther is depicted (not mentioned in the text).
Frame 4 includes two scenes. On the right, the king seated on his throne is listening to the reading of the empire's chronicles (Es. 6:1-3). On the left, Mordecai's triumph (Es. 6:11) is shown. The scene is supplemented with the scene of Haman's daughter who, from a window above, empties a chamber pot on her father's head (based on Megillah 16a).
Frame 5 shows the table with three figures: the royal couple and Haman. It is difficult to determine which of two Esther's banquets is depicted here but it is more likely that this is the second feast (Es. 7:1).
