This rectangular geometric carpet mosaic is situated, adjacent the zodiac panel to the right, bellow the sanctuary implements panel. The pattern is composed of two octagons, surrounded by squares and lozenges. The lozenges are decorated with geometric motivs such as interlaced circles and wave pattern, while the square forms enclose animal figures. Between the lozenges and squares, outside of the octagon, different geometric motifs are depicted; zigzag pattern, wave pattern etc'. The panel is enclosed within a frame composed of a band of alternating outlined tangent circles and horizontal spindles situated within a striped frame.
