The columns are surmounted by vasiform oil containers and bears at the side a lamp street-shape ornamentation attached by a strip decorated with a foliate pattern. The base rests on four animal-shape legs. The arched back wall is attached to the side walls and the base. It is decorated with a symmetrical composition set in an architectural frame surmounted by a openwok decoration. The composition consist of a central medallion surrounded by a foliate frame and flanked by two rampant lions facing to the front and standing on branches. There is a dedicatory inscription on the medallion, it's engraved in linear letters and reads: מעזבון של ##ד!ר מרדכי אנג'לו דונאטי ##מודינה תרל!ח- פריז תשכ!א !From the legacy of Dr. Mordechai Angelo Donati, Modena 5638 (=1878)- Paris 5721 (=1961). The medallion is surmounted by a double-headed eagle, it bears a small shield in the center and a crown above the heads. The architectural frame is composed by three arches supported by two columns decorated with foliate pattern and a row of six arhes at the bottom. The archade is surmounted by an openwork composition. An empty medallion surmounted by a double-headed eagle topped the central arch. Two vase filled with flowers and surmounted by an eagle facing outside are set above the small arches. The backround is filled by scrolls. The fixed rectangular side walls are decorated with an openwork scroll pattern. The shamash is a vase-shape oil container attached to a column at the side of the base. A similar oil continer is set symmetrically opposite to the shamash.
