The crown is made of silver and consists of a coronet surmounted by a crown. The coronet consists of a base and a wreath. The base is round and it bears a dedicatory inscription framed by two geometrical stripes. The wreath is round; it has a dentated edge and it is decorated with acanthus leaves. The coronet is attached to the crown with foliate links. The crown consists of a base , a wreath, five arches and an apex.##The base is faceted and is decorated with a continuous pattern of half-columns framed by a guilloche filled with flowers. The wreath is in the shape of acanthus leaves and five leaf-like arches are attached to it.## An apex in the shape of a bunch of three flowers is mounted over the arches. A bar is attached to the inner face of the crown and it bears a dedicatory inscription.## The dedicatory inscription which appears on the base of the coronet is repousse' in full letters and reads: הן זה כתר תורה% מאת חיים סגרי% בשנת תמה ברה%לכבוד האל בורא%עוטה שלמה אורה) תהלים קד ב (%כל חסי בו אשרי )תהלים ב יב ( !This is a Torah Crown%from Haim Segre%in the year 5652 ( 1892 )( based on beautiful and clean )%in honour of the Creator Lord who coverest thyself with light as with a garment ( based on Ps.104:2 )% blessed are all they that put their trust in him (based on Ps.2:12 )!## The dedicatory inscription which appears on the inner bar is repousse' in linear letters and reads: La comunita' israelitica di % Vercelli % in memoria del suo presidente % Mario Debenedetti % Vercelli-23 Tishri 5716. !
