The rectangular parokhet is decorated with a dedicatory inscription encircled by a wreath of flowers. The priestly blessing surmounts the inscription. It is flanked by two rampant gryphons standing atop cornucopias and supporting a Torah^crown. An inscription in square linear letters which appears above the crown reads: כתר##תורה "Torah crown". A vase with flowers is set in each corner of the parokhet. Foliate scrolls emerge from each vase and frame the parokhet. The dedicatory inscription in square filled letters reads: לזכרון בהיכל ה'## עבור נשמת כהר"ר)כבוד הרב רבי(## יהודא אריה הכהן ש"ץ)שליח ציבור( דק"ק)דקהילה קדושה( פעסט##ואשתו מרת קילא ריזל ע"ה)עליה השלום(## מבנם כ"ה )כבוד הרב( ירמיה הכהן אברהם## ואשתו מרת הענא פייגא בת מו"ה)מורנו הרב( יואל משה וחיה בילא בעלף נ"י)נרם יאיר(## בשנת ת'ר'ע'ג' לפ"ק )לפרט קטן( "In memory in the shrine of the Lord for the soul of the honorable Rabbi Judah Aryeh Ha-Cohen, the reader of the holy congregation of Pest and his wife Mrs. Kyla Ryzel, may she rest in peace, from their son, the honorable Rabbi Jeremiah HaCohen Abraham and his wife Mrs. Henah Feyga daughter of our teacher Rabbi Joel Moses and Hayah Bylah Belf, may their light shine in the year (5)673 (1913)."
