Along the right side of the border are four biblical scenes, each within a vertical panel accompanied by corresponding inscriptions written within quatrefoil cartouches. Between them are decorative elements such as a vase of flowers, a mask or floral decoration.
Here is the Sacrifice of Isaac:Isaac, as a child, is lying on a pile of sticks with arms tied in front of his body. Abraham, on the right, is standing, resting his left hand on Isaac's head and lifting a knife in his right. Above them, at the top right, is a winged angel emerging from the clouds, holding the top of the knife with one hand and pointing down with his other at a ram caught in a tree on the left.
Above and below the scene inscribed within two cartouches: וישכם אברהם' "And Abraham rose up early in the morning" (Gen. 22:3) / ויעקוד את יצחק, "and bound Isaac" (Gen. 22:9).
