Between them are decorative elements such as a vase of flowers, a mask or floral decoration. Two figures are depicted in the image: David as musician: King David bearded and crowned, wearing a long fury garment, is standing and playing the harp. Above and below the scene inscribed within two cartouches: בכינור נעים וגו' / מזמור לדוד, "A Psalm of David / pleasant harp, etc".
Below is King Solomon: The seated bearded and crowned Solomon wearing a long fury garment is holding a scepter in his right hand and pointing with his left at the text which contains the names Carolus and Elizabeht in display script.
Above and below the scene inscribed within two cartouches: וגו' מכל בני קדם / ויחכם שלמה, "Solomon was wiser / "than all the children of the east country, etc" (Kings I, 5:10-11).
