At the center of the middle column is a square panel enclosing a medallion with the portrait of Emperor Charles the VI. The emperor wearing royal dress and a wig. His crown is on his side.

The portrait is surrounded by an oval medallion inscribed in Hebrew with Daniel 4:19 (note that at the end of the verse inscribed by mistake in parenthesis Daniel, ch. 3 (דניאל ג)), and in Latin with Daniel 2:37.

Below the portrait is a Latin inscription: CARLUS. VI/ D:[EI]. G.[RATIA] ROMANOR[UM] : IMPERAT[OR]: ET REX/ HISPA[NIAE]:INDIA[E]: HUNGA[RIAE]: ET BOHEM[IAE].
