Art Alone
© Center for Jewish Art, Photographer: Unknown,

At the upper left part of the sheet, within a bell-shaped cartouche, is Ruth standing on the left holding a sheaf of corns in her hands. Boaz is standing behind her looking at her. In the foreground is a group of harvestmen reaping and collecting grains in a field of barely.

A landscape with a hilly town is in the far distance. The cartouche is placed between the books of Ecclesiastes and Ruth. The illustration is based on Ruth 2:5-9.
