<p>Col. 1:</p> <p>The upper cartouche encloses a scene of the large figure of Ahasuerus sitting at a round laid table at the center of the palace garden. A few men sit around the table on either side of Ahasuerus. The palace garden is surrounded by cyprus trees and flanked by two towers. Figures stand in the foreground beneath the palace gate.</p> <p>Vashti sits by a round table at the center of the bottom cartouche, within an arcade of the palace. Two (?) figures sit by the table opposite her.  A servant stands on the left. Another man stands further to the left holding a staff (?).</p> <p>Col. 2:</p> <p>A man (Mordecai?) stands holding a staff (?) and facing right, at the center of the top cartouche, beneath a double arched gate. Three figures sit around a table on the right beneath the arch of another building. Two more figures stand on the extreme right.</p> <p>Ahasuerus sits on his throne holding his scepter at the center of the bottom cartouche. Haman (?) stands facing him stretching out his hands. A fountain spouting water stands on the left.</p> <p> </p> <p>Col. 3:</p> <p>Ahasuerus, crowned and holding a scepter stands on the far left of the top cartouche, facing another man (probably Memucan). Hegai taking Esther and the maidens to the king's house</p> <p>Hegai situated on the right of the bottom cartouche, holding a staff, leads Esther and a group of women towards the king's palace. On the left another man (Hegai ?) leads three more women to the palace.</p>
