The white rectangular Tallit consists of two pieces of satin silk stitched together at their wider sides. The front piece bears an embroidered decoration of the Tables of the Covenant which upper parts are angular shaped. The Tables bear the opening words of the Ten commandments, five on each side and a Star of David. The Tables are flanked by two rampant and revealing tongues lions,each stands on a wave-like shape. The Tables are surmounted by a crown flanked by an inscription in full square linear letters, and reads: !כתר תורה! !Torah Crown! The lower part of the Tallit bears an inscription in full square linear letters and reads: !שמעון חיים##בר )בן רב ( אנשל##לעווין !Shimeon Haim##son of Rabbi Anshel##Levin! The lower part is decorated with an embroidered central ribbon from which two symmetrical branches of leaves and flowers emerge to the sides.The borders are decorated with a band of fringes.
