The torah^case is made of wood and consists of a body and a crown.## The body is cylindrical and covered by purple velvet attached by nails. The body is framed by nails. It is divided into an upper and lower part by an horizomtal row of nails. The lower part bears nailed circles. A velvet covered crenelation encircles the upper borders. The case is closed by two pairs of hook clasps. The inner face of the case is covered with red cotton decorated with white botehs. The onion shaped crown is composed of a main section and a crest. They are puple velvet, and decorated with nail pattern. The crest is undulating. Two rimon mounts are fixed on the crown. ##The inner face of the crown is covered by a white paper covered by glass. It bears a dedicatory iscription and is framed by flowers in red and orange. The dedicatory inscription is written in blue filled letters in an orange frame, and reads: וזאת ## התורה אשר ## שם משה לפני ## בני ישראל אלה ## החוקים והמשפטי! ## והתורות אשר נתן ## ה! בינו ובני ישראל !Deut.4:44! followed by !These ## are the statutes and the judgments ## and the laws which the Lord made ## between him and the children of Israel! part of Lev.26:46 The dedicatory inscription, continues on the left, and reads: תיק ## זה וספר ## תורה שבו עשה ## אתו הר יוסף ## עמרוני היו )ה' יחיהו וישמרהו( ## יזכהו למצות ## בשנת תרלא !This case ## and the Torah scroll inside it ## has been done ## by the Rabbi (int.) Joseph ## Amruni, mey the Lord sustain and protect him (int.): the Lord should grant him merit ## the year (5)631-(1871)!
