Codicology
Parchment, 960 leaves, numarated three times:
1. pagination from left to right written only on the lower right-hand corner of the verso (pp. 959-1), the numbers on the recto are not written while the numbers on the verso are crossed by pencil;
2. Above these crossed number and in the rectos is another pagination written from right to left (pp. 1-960), the only numration in right Hebrew order (we used this numeration);
3. foliation from left to right in the upper corner of the leaf (pp. 1-480).
Measurements: (244-246) x (200-205) mm, text space (150-155) x (71-112) mm, hight with masorah magna 210-240 mm.
Written in square Ashkenazi script in dark brown ink, masorah in light brown ink.
The Pentateuch in one column (ca. 74 mm width) with the marginal targum (30-34 mm); megilot and Haftarot in two columns (ca. 45 mm each).
The books of Job and Proverbs and the songs of Moses, Debora and David are written in sections.
21 lines for the main text, 35-40 for the Targum, masorah magna 2 lines on top and 3 at the bottom.
Ruling by stylus, from p. 471 by stylus and plammet, in the haftaroth usually by plummet, on the hair side of the bifoliums, 2 22 3 horizontal and 1 3 2 vertical lines.
Pricking is evident on the outer and inner margins, some with double pricking. 60 quires of 8 leaves each, except for XL 4 (end of Pentateuch), L 10 (end of Haftarot), LV 6, LX 10 (end of the book).
Catchwords are written in the lower left-hand corner of the last page of evry quire. Blank pages pp. 1, 795-797, 957-960.

The small panels are of irregular shapes mostlly following the shape of the letters.
All the panels have golden lettering and colored in blue, magenta, vermilion, green, pink, brown and some yellow, grey, light blue and little white.
The grounds of the panels are painted in blue and magenta, except for the the golden ground of the initial word for Genesis (p. 2), and decorated with brush scrolls and animals in white.

The inscription dated 1491, stating that the manuscrip was soled by Menachem son of Isaiah (?) from
