The black print on white paper presents a bearded Sofer Stam in a cap, writing a Torah scroll. He appears in a white circle, flanked by a menorah with burning lights and a bookshelf. There are an inkwell and a tefillin laying on the table. The whole scene is situated in the open Torah scroll.

The row above cites the words of Rabbi Hanina ben Teradion, גוילין נשרפין ואותיות פורחות (the parchment burning while the letters of the Law soar upward), and a reference to the source: עבודה זרה י"ח ע"א (BT, Avoda Zara, 17a).

The row below reads: מספרי שלום ואיטע וואסילעווסקי (Exlibris of Shalom and Ita Wasilewski). It is stamped over with an illegible stamp.
