The rectangular Torah ark curtain is formed of pink and grey vertical woven bands. Additional strips in pink, grey and blue are woven along the centre (see: Remarks: no. 1).

A dedicatory inscription is embroidered in square filled letters in the centre, and reads:

"למ' (למנוחת)/ כלימא ואתורי/ ת.נ.צ.ב.ה (תהא נשמתה צרורה בצרור החיים)."

"(Dedicated) for the repose of Khalima Vaturi, may her soul be bound in the bond of life."

The curtain is framed with a strip decorated with a pattern of open hands (hamsa), crescents (hilal), stars and flowers.

Hooks for hanging the curtain are attached to its upper edge while a band of fringes is attached to its bottom.
