The round panel depicting Helios is situated in the inner circle of the zodiac wheel, in the center of the nave. Helios is portrayed frontally in what seems to be a chariot. His face is surrounded by seven rays emanating from a halo. He is wearing a tunic. His left hand is raised and in his right he holds a globe and a whip. The moon is depicted to the left of Helios, and to the right is a star with a dot in the center. Of the chariot only the wheels and a small part of the horses' manes remain.
