(i) A double cannon hoist with one horizontal windlass operated with handles and ratchets. There are two iron sheave blocks with wooden pulleys on the supports, and a cannon is being hoisted by one of them on hooks. See: Fols. 12v-13v.
(ii) A cannon mount bearing four cannon which can be fired in rapid succession. Its height is adjustable.
