Fol. 51: This ladder is made of two parts joined by iron locking devices. It can be hooked over the parapet of a wall, but has metal arms to maintain a safe gap. Inscribed in Hebrew and Yiddish:
At the top, to the right of the ladder: .ווער עש/ זאך דש די/ מוייאר עיין/ אוייבר הנק חעט/ זו מך דיש אן די לויטר
To the left of the ladder: .שטעל דיש ווידר די/ מוייאר דש די לייטר/ ניט צו נא ביי די/ מוייאר גי
At the bottom, to left of the ladder: שטעל זיי ג' או ד'/ בוייש חער אוייש/ ון דער מוייאר זו/ שטיט זיי ושט.
Next to three sheaves, two on the ladder and one on the right (three times): שייב מעוטף.
On the rungs from top to bottom:
עץ עגול/ גם זה/ עץ עגול/ עץ רחב/ עץ או ברזל/ עץ רחב/ עץ עגול/ גם זה/ עץ עגול/ גם זה/עץ עגול/ עץ עגול.
