Fol. 91: The author, Isaac (ben Sahula), wearing a long garment and a cap, is sitting on a stool with an open book on a desk next to him. The squiggles representing the text are by the artist, and the desk has an opening revealing inside shelves with books. The caption above reads: “Image of the author carrying peace to many, ‘to him that is far off and to him that is nigh’" (Is. 57:19; צורת המחבר נושא שלום לרוב, לרחוק ולקרוב; Loewe 2004, II:695).
