Fol. 5v: A lion passant is facing two beasts (his ministers) in the open landscape: a walking stag (trippant) on the left and a seated fox on the right, illustrating the caption above that reads: "Image of the lion and his two friends, those who know him and those acquainted with him are before him" (צורת האריה ושני רעיו, יודעיו לפניו ומיודעיו; Loewe 2004, I:57).
