Fol. 96v: The catchword: הצום (the fast) at the bottom of the text page dealing with bleeding from the nose is decorated with a naked man riding a centaur-like creature. The bearded human head of the creature is turned toward the man and over his shoulders there is a cloth. The depiction may relate to the text of this page, explaining one of the methods of preventing bleeding from the nose: One should take a small piece of cloth dipped in cold water or in rose water and vinegar and put it on the neck; and pouring cold water on the shoulder on the side of the bleeding nostril may also help.

The depiction is inscribed 'He has frozen blood' (יש לו דם נקפא) which probably means that the wet cloth has made the blood clot and the bleeding has stopped.
