The representaion of Spring is enclosed within the upper left spandrel of the zodiac wheel panel above the signs of Virgo and Leo. It depicts the frontal bust of a winged female. Inscribed in Hebrew in the lower left corner of the panel:## תקופת ני]סן[## "The season of Nissan".## The female wears long earrings and a necklace. Behind the left wing is a shepherd's crook; above the right wing, an unidentified object reconstructed as a twelve-legged spider. In the center of the female's dress, is a bird pecking flower buds. A pair of leaves is at the bottom of each wing. The panel shares the guilloche frame of the zodiac wheel.
