The silver hanging^lamp consists of a body and a hanger.##The main section of the body is cylindrical and is mounted over a concave undulating bottom. An acorn apex is attached to its end. A cylindrical neck is mounted over the main section. ##The centre of the main section is decorated with a row of acanthus leaves. The neck is decorated with elongated leaves and its rim is decorated with an horizontal pattern of leaves. The neck bears the initials !MG!. The bottom of the body is decorated with a row of petals. The lamp is hanging by three chains from a graded dome canopy. The chains are composed of floral links and they are inserted through leaf-like handles. The frontal head of a winged angel is attached to each handle. The canopy is composed of three decorative rows: the lower one depicts a row of petals, the middle one a grooves pattern and the upper one an eggs pattern. An hanger is attached to the top of the canopy.
