The Zodiac sign of Leo is enclosed within a trapezoid panel, situated in the upper left section of the zodiac wheel. It depicts a lion in profile, facing left; inscribed in Hebrew in the upper right corner:## ארייה## "Leo" (lion).## The lion has its mouth open, its tongue protruding out and its tail curved upward. The panel is framed at top and bottom by guilloche bands, by a plain strip on the right, and a row of flower buds on the left.
