The silver Torah shield consists of a plate.
The plate is in a shape of a Star of David decorated with a star at the ends of the angles. The center depicts an inscription in square filled letters and reads: "ציון" "Zion" The angles bear an inscription in square filled letters which reads counter clock weist: "מ.ג.ן. ד.ו.ד" "Magen David" (Star of David) The angles are connected with smooth bands, each bears on its center a star. The shield is topped by an arch shaped plaque, decorated on its center with a star which bears five flowers. The plaque bears a dedicatory inscription in four lines in square linear letters which starts on the right side and reads:
"הקדש לק"ק )לקהל קדוש( מחזיקי תורה צונצין יב"ץ )יראו בנחמת ציון( ממני משה שלום ס"ט )ספרדי טהור( למנוחת בתי הנערה"
"Dedicated to the holy congregation Torah holders Zunzin may they witness the comfort of Zion from me Moses Shalom ............for the rest of my daughter the girl"
Continues on the left of the star:
"הנבק"ש )הנפטרת בקצר שנים( מ' )מרת( מזל טוב##דמיתקריא מתילדא##בת אסתר מכ'........נפ' )נפטרה( כיום 02 לחודש##חשון 0775"
"The passed away in short years Mrs. Mazal Tov that is called Matilda daughter of Esther ........ passed away in the day of the twentieth of month Heshvan 5700 [1940]"
A chain hanger is inserted through two rings attached to the upper part.
