The white cotton Torah^scroll^binder is a long narrow cloth composed of four pieces. The cloth bears an inscription and printed illustrations in green, purple, yellow, blue and brown. The inscription is written in square stylized letters and reads:
"יעקב בר אורי שרגא נולד במזט )מזל טוב( יום ה יג ניסן תרכז לפק השם יזכהו לגדלו בתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים אמן סלה".
"Ya'qov Bar Uri Shraga born in good luck at Thursday the 13 of April 1867 may God raise him to Torah,Hupah and to good deeds, amen selah".
The illustrations depict hunting scenes:a hunter holding a rifle followed by a running dog, a deer, a bear, a squirrel on top of a tree, musicians holding a flute and a drum, dancing girls, father and son carrying a tied cow.
