The standing back-walled Hanukah lamp is made of brass and consists of a row of oil containers,a back wall,a shamash candle socket and legs. The bench like row of oil containers is composed of eight rectangular, spouted containers and fastened to the back. The oval back is decorated with a Star^of^David, flanked by two rampant lions facing in, each with a leg atop a semi-circle which bears the inscription: "להדליק נר חנוכה" "To kindle the Hanukah light." The oval frame of the back wall has two petals on either side, pointing out. In its center, a crown supports a vase shaped candle socket for the shamash.
