In the outer margin of the page Haman and his ten sons are hanged on a high tree inside an elongated panel with a lobed top. Haman hangs on the uppermost branch and a red bird pecks at his eye. Each son hangs on a separate branch on either side of the tree, their hands tied behind their backs. The following words are inscribed next to the figures. המן ג' אמין "Haman 3 cubits" פרשנדתא ג' אמין "Parshandatha 3 cubits" בין כל אחד ואחד אמה "Between each of them one cubit" דלפון ג' אמין "Dalphon 3 cubits" אמה "One cubit" אספתא ג' אמין "Aspatha 3 cubits" אמה "One cubit" פורתא ג' אמין "Poratha 3 cubits" אמה "One cubit" אדליא ג' אמין "Adalia 3 cubits" אמה "One cubit" ארידתא ג' אמין "Aridatha 3 cubits" אמה "One cubit" פרמשתא ג' אמין "Parmashta 3 cubits" אמה "One cubit" אריסי ג' אמין "Arisai 3 cubits" אמה "One cubit" ארידי ג' "Aridai 3 cubits" אמה "One cubit" ויזתא ג' אמין "Vaizatha 3 cubits" תלת אמין בארעא "Three cubits in the ground". In the lower margin of the page the crowned Mordecai and Esther sit on cushioned stools. They each hold a scepter surmounted by a fleur-de-lys in one hand and point to the hanging scene with the other. There is and inscription above Esther which reads, כתר מלכות בראש אסתר "Esther is crowned with the crown of kingship." The inscription above Mordecai reads, עטרת זהב גדולה על ראש מרדכי היהודי "A large golden crown is on the head of Mordecai the Jew." The faces of all the figures are erased.

Summary and Remarks
This illustration was probably executed later than the other illustrations in the manuscript, since its style and the script of the accompanying inscriptions are different. Furthermore the illustration is located in the margin rather than within the text, as with the other illustrations.
