"המלך" ד ב ר The initial word for the book of Ecclesiastes is written inside a panel in the upper left corner of the page. The letters are written in gold on red foliate scroll. In the first letter of the initial word there is an illustration of the crowned and enthroned Solomon holding a scepter with a crucifix in his right hand and an orb in his left. His face is erased. The word "the king", is inscribed outside the panel on the right. A red animal surmounts the letter 'dalet' and a bird stands behind the letter 'bet' and under the letter 'resh'.
