p.3 includes two pictures. In the right picture, depicting the search for the leaven, a white-bearded man dressed as an Orthodox Jew is standing on the right, in a vaulted room. He is collecting the Hametz with a brush and a shovel. Two children are standing in front of him. The boy, wearing a black gown and a cap, is holding a lit candle and looking at the old man. The girl is looking at the candle and resting her arms on the table. She has two pigtails and a short dress. Part of a closet with twisted columns is seen on the man's left. A clock and an East European style Hanukkah lamp are hanging on the wall, behind the table. Below the picture is written in block Hebrew letters: "אור לי"ד בודקין את החמץ" "On the eve of the 14th they look for the Hametz" Below the right picture appears the order of the Hametz examination; below the left picture appears the order of the Hametz removal.
